We started Self Publishing Agency because too many authors were paying for publishing — and losing their rights, their royalties or their money along the way. We do it differently.

For years our founders watched talented authors get burned — by vanity presses that kept their rights, by "packages" full of services they didn't need, and by companies that disappeared after the check cleared.

So we built the company we wished existed: experienced U.S. writers, editors and designers working as one team, plain-English contracts, and books published in the author's own name and accounts. Since 2023, our team has helped authors write, design and publish books they're proud of.
